Is SnackBar hard to use?
No—the whole point of SnackBar is to make life easier for you, your volunteers, and your customers. As soon as your volunteers download the app and connect it to your FutureFund account, they’ll be able to take contactless payments for any item you’ve added to your store.
Does FutureFund take a commission from my concession sales?
Schools don’t pay anything to use FutureFund. As a donor-funded platform, we charge a small fee to each purchaser as a percentage of their total payment. This helps cover our platform costs so that we can continue providing free features to the school groups we serve.
Is SnackBar only for concession sales or can I use it for other items?
SnackBar works great for concessions—but it’s designed to process payments for any item you’re selling in person. Sellers select the items being purchased on the app screen to bring up the payment interface, then hand the item over once the transaction has been completed.
Can I manage my concessions inventory directly from the SnackBar app?
Not right now. You’ll need to log into your FutureFund account to add or remove items from your SnackBar inventory.
Does SnackBar support cash payments?
No—SnackBar is designed to simplify purchases made with contactless payment methods. You can still use FutureFund to track cash and check transactions as offline payments.
Do I need an existing FutureFund account to use SnackBar, or can I make one from the app?
SnackBar is designed to work in tandem with your existing FutureFund account, so you’ll need to create one before you can sell items through the app. But setting up your account with FutureFund is quick and easy—get started here!
Do purchasers need a FutureFund account to get receipts?
Nope! Anyone who makes a purchase through SnackBar gets a receipt emailed to them automatically, as long as they’ve supplied their email address.
How does FutureFund keep purchaser information safe and secure?
